Beta Amyloid.
It’s just a fragment of 42 amino acids, but this single clump of protein becomes the starting point that destroys everything in the brain.
This is similar to a case where an athlete, whose HPTA is completely shattered by improper PCT, ultimately never recovers their hormone balance.
The beginning of Alzheimer’s is the accumulation of beta-amyloid plaques, and this is not a simple byproduct of aging.
This is the price of the most overlooked habit: “sleep deprivation.”
The message I am conveying is aimed at bodybuilders preparing for the stage and all elites targeting biotechnological optimization.
This is not just common health knowledge.
This is a practical strategy for hacking the brain and reversing aging.
The brain does not have a lymphatic system.
Instead, there is a system called the glymphatic system.
This is a sewer network created by glial cells.
And this glymphatic system only works properly during deep non-REM sleep stages 3-4, not during REM sleep.
At that moment, glial cells shrink by about 60%, expanding the space between brain cells.
Then, cerebrospinal fluid flows in like a river, washing away the beta-amyloid that covers the brain as if power-cleaning it.

During this process, the rate of beta-amyloid removal becomes more than twice as fast as when awake.
The important thing is that if this deep sleep is lacking by just 30 minutes, this cleaning function drops abnormally.
There are even clinical results showing that even minor noise during sleep disrupts deep sleep and actually increases the accumulation of beta-amyloid in the cerebrospinal fluid by up to 30%.
This is why we cannot ignore the phenomenon where bodybuilders during recovery periods fail to sleep deeply and wake up frequently.
That is not simple fatigue.
It’s a signal that brain cells are being covered in beta-amyloid.
Especially, beta-amyloid accumulates intensively in the medial prefrontal cortex, which is called the CEO of the brain.
And ironically, this very region is the core area that produces delta waves and induces deep sleep.
When beta-amyloid builds up, this area cannot generate sleep, and when sleep is lacking, more plaques accumulate in this area.
This is what biotechnologists call a “positive feedback loop.”
In other words, a vicious cycle.
Once this loop starts, the progression rate of Alzheimer’s increases exponentially.
And the first button is sleep.
When sleep collapses, the balance of neurotransmitters collapses, the flow of information between synapses slows down, and eventually, the brain’s storage capacity hits rock bottom.
The reason why you can’t remember things no matter how much you memorize?
Without sleep, the movement of memories from the hippocampus to the cerebral cortex is physically blocked.
When we wonder why bodybuilders’ “learning ability and training skill acquisition speed have dropped,” the first thing to look at is not protein intake but the quality of non-REM sleep.
This cannot be solved without stepping into the uncharted territory of sleep optimization, which is neither training nor nutrition.
Deep sleep is concentrated in the first half of nighttime sleep.
Even if the total sleep time is the same, going to bed late results in shorter deep sleep.
This is due to the circadian rhythm and melatonin secretion pattern, a fact confirmed even in 1990s experiments on circadian rhythm regulation by NASA and DARPA.
In practice, the moment you break this rhythm, not only growth hormone secretion but also IGF-1 and GHRH sensitivity are impaired.
Do you understand?
Even if you supplement with growth hormone injections, if you don’t manage your sleep, the endogenous GH produced by the brain will continue to decrease.
Because external GH injection reduces IGF-1 ligand receptor sensitivity, if this loop continues long-term, growth hormone resistance can even develop.
Sleep deprivation doesn’t just cause beta-amyloid accumulation.
It is a direct trigger that collapses the entire body’s hormonal axis.
I always tell elite bodybuilders the same thing.
“If you don’t manage your sleep, any peak performance strategy is useless.”
GH injections, IGF-1 LR3, GHRP-6, CJC-1295 DAC.
Even if you use all of these, if deep sleep is disrupted, their effectiveness is halved, nervous system fatigue accumulates, and eventually, the CNS recovery speed itself slows down.

If the brain cannot sleep, the body won’t respond to any program.
Alzheimer’s?
It’s not just a disease of the elderly.
It’s a rebellion of the brain that comes to those who ignore sleep.
And that rebellion eats away at your performance every day in the form of memory, learning ability, and athletic performance.
Remember that sleep is the brain’s detox protocol.
If you cannot control your sleep, no one has the right to control drugs and muscle.

This paper is the first study to reveal that the glymphatic system is activated during deep sleep, effectively removing waste products from the brain, particularly beta-amyloid, via cerebrospinal fluid. It scientifically supports the link between sleep and Alzheimer’s disease prevention.
